Mt4 not Backtesting properly!

I ran my EA through the tester.....one day it was profiting....the nxt day I ran it again nd it was not.....I noticed the difference btwn the two was the model percentage (or history %.....idk)....
Then I ran it on mt5 caz it always 100%there but there ALL EAs were not profiting at all!!So was looking for somewhere else to test the EA (found a website called EAacademy.....havnt tried it tho)
Anyone know a site or a diff application to test EAs??? -
@tashab share one of the strats that showed profitable and no longer is.
along with that, post screenshots of your platform. The settings of the EA you selected. I dont need to see the inputs. Just settings of time frame selected, etc.

@TipsyWisdom there is no problem with the EA itself....there is simply no tester that gives 100% results
@l-andorrà yeah I tried diff mt4 brokers....but what was messed up was one broker gave me diff results of the exact same EA.....

@tashab Please notice that all results have terrible history data quality. Don't trust any backtest with a quality below 99%. The problem is certainly your data source.

@l-andorrà @TipsyWisdom Thnkx guys, after researching I found out it has a lot to do with broker's ability to collect the history nd etc....

@tashab my advice is to find a broker who prides themselves on how much data they carry, and are very specific about it.

@tashab Another option is paying for good quality data. That's the one I use, personally.
