i have a martingale EA that is working well. But i want to control the number of trades to take. for example i want the EA to take a maximum of 6 trades per pair. How do i go about it?

@ideal Trust me, martingales are never worth your time. They will destroy your account sooner than later.

@l-andorrà 100% same you thinking

l'andorra is correct, you have to have several things in order NOT to destroy your account. It is better to use a lower ratio than 2x martingale, for instance less than 2.00 such as 1.50 or 1.25 to be safe.
You will notice that anyone using martingale will always start at 0.01 lot size, you have to start that low in order to survive 4 or 5 losses in a row.

@Ideal i like martingale EA, too but i dont know how to build it. Could you share your EA to me to my mail (somathkhun010@gmail.com)

@Ideal
Martingale is only dangerous when coupled with greed. A Martingale strategy can also be designed in such a way that the maximum decline does not blow up your account, so limiting the positions is the right thing to do.
Limiting trades is a very simple thing that can be found in the database, but ok, here's an example.
