open trade when the candle crosses a vertical line drawn on chart.
-
Hello team! May I ask if someone knows how would it look like if you need to open one trade when the candle crosses a vertical line drawn on chart. I tried it like that [https://fxdreema.com/shared/DFreG3V9d] but failed.. thanks
-
@saakian1 Don't you mean a horizontal line instead? A candle will always 'cross' a vertical line.
-
No sir, needed to open the deal at the time indicated by the vertical line if it's possible.. tnanks
-
@l-andorrà tried it differently but didn't work.. https://fxdreema.com/shared/yyywQX7ub
-
@saakian1 How is this line drawn? This will affect the options you have, if you have the time somewhere for when the line is drawn, you could use this?
-
Tying to make a trade when a candle met this vertical line..

-
@saakian1 Have you manually drawn this line? or is it drawn some other way?
-
@jstap regardless of how its drawn, he could do it as; select that object by color or object by type in loop and then reference it?
-
@jstap yes sir, it´s manually drawn
-
@tipsywisdom I am also trying but it does not work out .. when it is a trend line the order is opened by crossing it with the candle but when it is a vertical line it does not work. I would be grateful to anyone who dares to show a mini example of this.
-
@tipsywisdom @saakian1 As it's manually drawn referencing is defiantly possible, I think the only problem is if it doesn't show in the object list. Tipsy could you share how you would do this? I'm not too practiced on using a vertical line.
-
this will probably do it. one of these.
-
@tipsywisdom This is another option for tipsy's condition block configuration:

-
@tipsywisdom , @l-andorrà , @jstap Already done , thanks for your support !

@saakian1 You're welcome.
