@kestra There can be several reason for that to happen. One of them can be the amount of computing requirements involved. If your project is using many loops on the 'on tick' tab, probably there is not enough time for the EA to complete all calculations befroe the next tick arrives to the MT4. That is ver common when the market is very volatile.

@kestra There is a lot of loops there. As soon as there are many open trades, all those loops are executed very quickly. I don't see a solution other than rebuilding the whole structore with less loops, if that is possible.

@l-andorrà ABOUT THE COMPLAIN SIR, EVEN IF IT TOOK THE EA TOO LONG TO PROCESS THE TRADE ON THE TICK, I THINK THAT SHOULD NOT BE CONSISTENT FOR THE NEXT SIGNALS, COS WHAT HAPPENED WAS THAT THE EA LITERARILY PAUSED. AT LEAST IT SHOULD WORK ON THE NEXT SIGNAL.

@kestra If the Ea stops working then it is not a problem of loops but probably with the Mt4 platform. In that case you should try another MT4 and check if it works correctly.

@kestra Do you mean with was the highest balance for that last 10 candles? Not sure I understand why the close proce is needed.

@l-andorrà OK, THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT I MEAN. AT THE CLOSE OF EACH CANDLE THERE WOULD BE A BALANCE SURE BEFORE THE NEXT TRADE , AND IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE NEXT TRADE MIGHT BE A LOSS WHICH WOULD REDUCE THE BALANCE, FOR EXAMPLE HAVING CONSECUTIVE LOSSES, BUT AS SOON AS THE CURRENT BALANCE REACHES THE HIGHEST KNOWN BALANCE AT THE CLOSE OF LAST 10 CANDLES. SO THE EA IS TO IDENTIFY THE HIGHEST BALANCE FROM THE PREVIOUS TRADES.

EITHER OF THE 1 OR 2 WILL WORK AND AFTER WHICH I WILL PUT LOT SIZE DETECTION AND PARTIAL CLOSE.

@kestra In that case you will need a variable that should stor the value of the balance at the opening of each candle. The problem is which balance should be consodered athe 'base' one? What if trades hit SL? Then balance will be lower. How is the EA supposed to deal with that?

IF TRADE HITS STOPLOSS IT WOULD STORE THE BALANCE TOO IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW IT WAS CLOSED ALL WE NEED IS THE HIGHEST BALANCE FROM A NUMBER OF PREVIOUS TRADES WHICH CAN BE TRACKED BY NUMBER OF CANDLES OR PERIOD OF TIME. @kestra That feature requesting the highest balance of the previous trades was not mentioned before. This is even more confusing. Why do you need the highest balance of previously closed trades? How can that be relevant for your future trades? Don't you mean the closed profit/loss instead?

@l-andorrà I MENTIONED IT SIR, THE HIGHEST BALANCE IS WHAT IS NEEDED, THE AIM IS TO MANAGE THE MONEY, TO REDUCE THE RISK AS SOON AS THE BALANCE BREAKEVEN INTO THE LAST HIGH AND THEN THE RISK WILL BE REDUCED ON FUTURE TRADES. COS IF THE CURRENT BALANCE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO THAT BALANCE, THEN WE CHECK THE LOT SIZE AND PARTIALLY CLOSE LARGER PERCENT OF THE TRADE.

@kestra Wouldn't it be easier to calculate the profit/loss of the last closed trades instead of storing the maximum balance? If I understand correctly the strategy what you really need is compensating your losses, right?
