MT4 availability, compatibility and usage in 2023
-
I tried installing MT4 for testing purposes from the official website but i get MT5 instead which is odd, went ahead and got an old version (2010's) from an alternative website but the server "Alpari" is down.
I am unable to learn fxdreema properly without using the examples provided on the how to section.
I mean if the software has being discontinued it shouldn't be available on the official site but it kinda seems otherwise.
I was thinking getting a demo account on a mt4 compatible broker would fix this but what do you guys think ?
Is there a way i can use MT4 really? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

i cant post links dont have the reqs met yet but ican paste this, this is the website i got the older version from

Did you use this link in the official site? Note that you need to scroll down, mt5 is first on the page.

Anyway, you can use any broker with any mt4 program, just click File -> Open an account, and search your broker there.

@roar yes i did, thats the weird part in all of this.

Ok, maybe they just want to get people on mt5...
Heres a broker version that is at least up to date. You can use this on any broker, just change the account.

@roar Well, i guess we have to rely on brokers to provide MT4 now. Thanks a bunch, wouldnt have spent less time on this issue if it weren't for you. I appreciate your input.
