Data backtest

Hello, I'm trying to do a backtest but when using a date range does not do the backtest of that date, it only does the last month. I have gone to metatrader and I have verified that the data are downloaded and if they are... what can be happening to only do backtest the last month and not the date that I have entered? Thank you very much.

Not sure.

But if you aren't using tick data, then downloading your own tick data might solve your issue.

You'd want to use quality tick data anyway, anything else will skew your results

@Mitchp Agreed. Don't even try any serious backtest without a quality level below 99%.
