      Hello

Local version 087 seems to have a small bug:

      Clipboard02.jpg
This happens when doing an export to mq4 or ex4.

The file seems to be written, but I don't know if its correctly written.

Also seems to appear in project options, and project description view/edit.

Thanks, as always, for a great piece of software! 🙂

          Er... Sorry...!!

After a re-boot of the PC the problem seems to have evaporated!

Probably a Windows thing... 🙂 I guess I'll never know!

Hello Dreema, I am also getting that warning notification when mql file building and on Load project list (but it still there even after reboot) so do I just ignore it ?

            • how is it to know which warning notification I could ignore and which is not , is it to ignore = anything which state parameter 2,
            • I could not access into the "Load Project" list anymore

I need to know this because if the ea that I am working with is not taking trade as it should - I need to identify is it due to me(my rules or input error) or is it due to the software, because if it is due to software then I could spend ages to think until my head crack and still I won't be able to figure it out. 🙂

Wow, now this looks bad. This is PHP warning, not MQL4 or MQL5. I will reupload this build after a while...

ok I don't see any warning sign anymore and I can access into the Load Project.

                  Thank you Dreema 🙂

Just wanted to say thank you for a quick fix to the bug.

fxDreema is still the best! 🙂

...and I still think you ought to look into developing it for use on NinjaTrader strategies...! 🙂

Well, one little warning message looks fine, but when the whole screen is covered with it, this is another story.

Aah, I downloaded NinjaTrader to check it out and... I'm really disappointed. I tried this and that, and I was not able even to open some chart correctly. I forgot that I was trying to run some robot on this platform. And to be honest, it looks ugly, which means the programmer does not care very much. More than that - this program is not free and now I don't know why and who buys it. So... let's try with another product, because this one sucks 🙂

Yes, I agree that NinjaTrader looks ugly. However, it is free to use for testing, and the Sim account is a true account which can be used totally free on a broker's platform for true price action simulated trading.

I think that it has quite a following in the USA. I'm not entirely sure how well followed MT4/5 is in the USA, it being Russian and all!! We all know how the Americans are in that regard...! 😆

I use it as I found an interesting strategy which wasn't available for MT4/5, and although I was given the code and principles for the strategy, so far I've been unable to properly replicate it on MT4, even with the excellent fxDreema package!

From what I can work out, NinjaTrader works wery well as a trading platform, but they gear themselves towards traders either having access to programmers or ready-made off-the-shelf purchased strategies. I don't mind betting that if traders found they could easily program for themselves with fxDreema, there would be a decent demand for your software from them.

Haha, this is how the map of visitors looks like for fxdreema.com for the last month: http://prntscr.com/4wogml Russia is not even in the top 10! Russia is #34 with only 44 sessions compared to 743 from US 🙂 And no, I'm not advertising it, so this is all organic traffic.

I wish if there is a platform that can make 100% accurate backtests, we know how bad MT4 is, it is only fine with giant stops. With Ninjatrader I don't know where to start. You tried another platforms?

No. I'm only working with MT and Ninja. But I have read articles which give NinjaTrader a better report than the grand-father of them all, TradeStation, and at a fraction of the cost.

Sometimes "free" isn't entirely the best solution, and you do get what you pay for - or not! 🙂
I guess NinjaTrader would claim to be more trader focussed since that's where its income comes from.

I believe the NinjaTrader scripting language is C#.

But I'm no programmer! Unfortunately... 🙂

This is what I did: http://prntscr.com/4wryd7

This is maybe the only instrument that works, and I don't even know what "ZB 12-14" is 😆 But I found that there is some Wizard to create strategies and I created something... I don't know what, but look, I think it is profitable 😄

Don't know what ZB is either!

I just think that you could do what the wizard does soooo much better! And make money from your labours! 🙂

                                Anyway, hey ho!
