Maybe you indeed do not need to create different magic numbers for each pair.

It may even confuse yourself when different pairs with the same strategy get different magic number

Hi, thanks for the reply. Different magic number in each robot will not effect TP values as sometimes broker does something and eg. EURUSD picks the TP value of GBPUSD price or set TP very very far so in order to avoid this, if magic number would be different, none will be able to copy other pair price as TP or avoid applying wrong TP.

When you place a trade, place it with a group number, you can then use this number to control the trade, for E.G trail the stop. A group number is added to the magic number, so magic 3333 plus group 33 would equal a used magic number of 3366.

Dear professionals, kindly guide me how to make magic number on auto basis means if a robot is made to trade multi currency pair on same chart so how can we get different magic number for each pair.

Example if 3 currency pairs are mentioned in market block, I want robot to apply 3 different magic numbers for them.

The original question was to open them on the same candle. Do you need to wait for the candle to be closed in your case instead?

Yes, I want candle to close first and then new order should be open to new candle, means orders keep getting open on a new candle till all close on breakeven. This is as same as range trading.

I have a same question, example any MA cross opened a trade, if first trade is Buy and instead closing on TP t went to loss then on next candle another buy order will be opened and this will continue until all buy orders will be closed on "check profit (unrealized)".

Thank you so much, I am still trying to find a way to set values in drop menu for MA so the users can select only those moving average values from the menu, example I want them to use either MA 20, 40 or 60, not a free text.

Hi, I checked those too and other questionnaire posted but none have query similar to mine. I just need a drop menu with some values to select, that's it. My test project has multiple currency to trade and closing trade in on 20 pips distance but for Gold I just want to show 200 in drop menu, so when user will be trading with Gold, they can select 200. May be my answer is in others query but my words might not matching to their question so I am unable to find.

You can find several past threads in the forum requesting exactly that. Just use the search tool on top of it and select those keywords on for the title. You'll find more than one.

I checked the search option, there are answers there but none matches mine. I want this option for the Gold and other indices TP because in normal currency pairs we can use 10 pips but for Gold we have to use 100 for the same dollar profit so I need to make a drop down menu for the same so the user can select TP from there for a Gold, I dont want that area free text because traders are greedy and complain after they lose money so I want to restrict the TP pip distance. Hope you got my point.

@Achero Are you using < and this or x< and x> because if you are using < and > in your conditions, then robot will keep picking orders back to back either on TP or SL.
