__Anyway, why don't you try this: http://prntscr.com/cxkx0a Well, set the timeframe to daily as well.[/quote:bw2psa22]

      Because I wasn't aware of it 😉
      So much to discover.

Thanks a lot for make the variable point clear.
      Now I understand.

Just want to say, that you've done a brilliant work.
Is it still getting new features?

The most two thing I miss are:

      1. Undo
      2. Keyboard shortcuts (at least for copy and paste and delete)

Don't know why it's not working here.
Only thing I could imagine is a language issue (I'm using Win10 German).

      Anyway I found a workaround.
You can apply a default template for the tester, named "Tester".

Yes, I want to have the same Pivot in both blocks.
In case it's running under it, I want a Sell order in case it runs above, I want a Buy order.

Is there a good way to implement a threshhold?
Let's say I want to Buy if Pivot crosses +10 and Sell if it crosses -10.
Is the only way to do it generate two variables, P1=Pivot+10 and P2=Pivot-10?

Thanks for the "no trade" hint, that makes absalutly sense 😉

      Thanks for your support.

      Hi,

I can't get sorted this out:

      2016-10-22 17_58_06-Forex Pivot.png

      Pivot is a Variable.
The Buy part is fired, the Sell not.

      i. e. Cross overs above the pivot line are working (not always, but mostly), below newer.

The blue dashed line is the pivot line:

      Any help much appreciated.
      Thanks

    • RE: Apply Template

      Doesn't work for me either.

Maybe this has to do with the new location of templates:
      C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\50CA3DFB510CC5A8F28B48D1BF2A5702\templates

In that directory there is a Default.tpl, whjich I excatly apply as in your code.
      Doesn't work.

      No errors in the log.

Learning curve is steeper as expected.
      I set the variables:

But they are running to infinity ...

The reference, directly added candle values in the comment box, is ok.
(showing yesterdays open low and high)

      To add:

Something like the attached screenshot seems not to work.
None of the values are filled. All are still and remain 0.

    • RE: Best Practice Formulas

      Hi,

I'm pretty new with fxDreema and so far love it.
Yesterday, I wanted to dive in a bit deeper and struggeled with formulas.

Let's say I want to define a Variable:
Pivot = (Last Candles High + Last Candles Low + Last Candles Close) / 3

How am I supposed to do that in a proper way?
The only thing I found was:

      a. Custom Code
      b. Do two calculation at one step and combine multiple formulas

As for b. it is not easy to do more and more complex formulas (and understand them a week after)

      Did I miss something?

      Thanks
