    • If, then, conditions for 2 indicators

      Hello Everyone,

I am seeking assistance with configuring an Expert Advisor (EA) that utilizes two indicators: the MACD and the Stochastic. My objective is to set up the EA so that it opens a trade only when the following conditions are met:

      1. The MACD indicator crosses first.
        then it waits
      2. Subsequently, the Stochastic indicator crosses after.

I would greatly appreciate any help with arranging this setup, as I am currently unsure how to implement it.
I have attached a shared link to the project below.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    • 2 Indicator Confirmations

Hi Guys. Hope you are all well.

Is there a way to create an Indicator based EA that waits for 2 or more confirmations (not at the same time) before opening a trade.
I have attached an image to explain what I'm talking about.

      Screenshot (214).png

      In the image:

      • The Red line indicates the first indicator confirmation. After 2 candles, the 2nd indicator (yellow line) is confirmed, then the sell trade is opened.

      • The Blue line indicates the first indicator confirmation. After 4 candles, the 2nd indicator (yellow line) is confirmed, then the buy trade is opened.

Is possible to create an EA that follows these rules? Thank you for your time and assistance.

    • RE: zigzag

I agree 100% with Provenzano. Based on experience with building a zig zag robot as well as advice from I'andorra when I asked him to help me in the past, I recommend that you do use it as a method to determine levels of support and resistance, but not as a stand alone robot. You will LOSE your money, trust me.
Rather use it as confluence with other indicators or market structure analysis to determine where to buy or sell. It works way better that way especially in consolidating markets.
