@rouzbehali Thanks for the example. I think it is really the simpler solution. I have understood the logic and will try to integrate it into my EA soon to test it in practice. I will report on the success.

@rouzbehali This is a very interesting approach. Can you share an example? I am still quite new to the subject and am grateful for any opportunity to further develop myself.

Thank you very much for this useful information. What I find very unfortunate is that the default variables are not saved and are lost when the terminal crashes. But fortunately, there are solutions from the community.

It has been a while, but I have another question. Is there a way to number the open trades and also add this to the comment?

RE: Project variables are getting resetposted in Questions & Answers
@l-andorrĂ No, the bot stays in the chart after the terminal restart and continues to work. Only the values are no longer correct. @jstap suggested a solution to my problem that should work. I'll share the link to the other conversation, maybe it will help someone else looking for this solution.

@jstap Thank all very much for the numerous answers. I think that is a good solution. I will test it tomorrow and report back with the result

@sktsec I'm unfortunately quite new to this topic, so I would really appreciate an example of how it works.

@jstap Thank you for your support, that seems to be the right way.

RE: Grid function bugposted in Bug Reports
@jstap Thank you for your support. I currently have two problems that I can't solve.
- When the terminal is restarted, the variables are deleted and the EA opens new grid positions with only 0.01 lot. It should actually continue with at least the previously set lot size...
- With the first trade, it often happens that the EA opens two trades at once.
I have shared the link accordingly:

I have exactly the same problem. Can someone explain the solution to me better? What can I do? Unfortunately, the image from the previous post is no longer available.

Thank you for the quick response Andora. Is there an idea on how I can do this?

When MetaTrader is restarted, the EA opens new positions with 0.01 lotposted in Questions & Answers
Can someone please help me here or has anyone observed the same problem? I have an EA that opens grid positions. The problem is that when MetaTrader is restarted, the EA opens new positions with 0.01 lot... How can I make it continue where it left off?

RE: Grid function bugposted in Bug Reports
I also have the same problem. So far, no solution... It's actually quite sad that such a great project is not being maintained anymore. This raises the question of whether it makes sense to continue supporting and learning this project or to just learn everything on your own.

RE: Who Can help me Here my bot can trigger very well on demo but can't trigger in live tradingposted in Questions & Answers
I have the same problem and have tried several brokers. I built my EA according to the instructions from Boxxocode and it works perfectly in the tester. Unfortunately it does not work in real.
