Renko chart tips?

Hello there.
I am making EAs with renko chart and I wonder if fxdreema works with the renko offline chart.
Do you have any tips to make the EA work solely with the brick sized renko chart?
Also, are the brick IDs identified in the offline chart?

I don't have very much experience with Renko charts and offline charts in general. It should work, you can try it. If something doesn't work, tell me.

I use range bar charts which are very similar and fxdreema works with my offline charts no issue, just be conscious of any indicator or component that uses a time parameter, it can make the EA do crazy things.

Do you have an idea on how I can backtest the EA on renko/range bars in mt4. I don't seem to find a solution

Hi Onafets,

I purchased a range bar / renko bar indicator with a backtest functionality. It has a script which you can run and perform backtests on. Without that I don't know if it possible.

It is reliable and works well but obviously is complete dependent on you time period history, so it is worth having an extensive and reliable history archive, particularly 1min.

Hi nking, I also have a renko indicator and offline script for backtesting - from Ovo.cz
However all the EA's from fxdreema do crazy things instead of what is required, do you have any advice?
Is your backtest running ok?

Did you have any luck solving the problem. i also use Renko bars(Ovo.cz) and sometimes the EA works sometimes not, sometimes only 50% of the time.
