    • RE: RESTART EA AFTER NO TRADES OPEN

Why don't you switch to the Pips option instead of Price fraction. It's a long story, but for the chart in your screenshot I think that 1 pip is 0.001, not 0.01.

So, Round numbers detector should do something on each new level. I don't remember fixing that block soon and I think that the block is not buggy in the desktop version. But I don't know what else can be. If these blocks from the screenshot are under "on Tick" and if this is an EA, not a script, it should work. But first make sure that Round numbers detector is doing what you want. I would connect it with some Draw Arrow blocks to see the levels at which it gives me signals. And I did that in the web version... looks as I expected.

      Again, try with Pips

    • RE: pending order with fibonacci betting system

Because I don't feel good about the Martingale option as well 🙂 I told you, even I don't know what to expect from these options, as there is no other option to select from where to get information about the next lot size. I don't know, something is missing for me about these options at the moment and in general I don't like adding functionalities when I'm not sure about them at 110%. Because if I add something and it turn out to be a bad idea, in the future I will need to deal with eventual problems

MM options are not totally clear even in Buy now/Sell now. Some people wanted to calculate the next lot size out of currently running trades, which is not exactly how Martingale should work. But now this is how it works - first the running trades are checked and after that closed trades. If you know this... okay, but if you don't know about this, who knows. For some reason no one reported problems with this behaviour, but I can only imagine someone who is trying to understand what is going on sometimes.

Again, there is something that is not clear for me in these options even for Buy now/Sell now, and for pending orders things are even more complicated. Maybe I need to rething how things happen and add some more options for control, but there are like 40 input parameters currently for Buy now/Sell now and it's already ugly 🙂 I just don't like the idea of adding more parameters in blocks who already have 10s of parameters.

I said that I can add it, but I most probably won't add it. I don't "feel" this type of option, for lack of better explanation 🙂

    • RE: pending order with fibonacci betting system

I remember when I did Martingale. But there is some ambiguity about these MM options for pending orders. From where you should get information to calculate the next lot size - from the previous pending order, from the previous running trade, from the previous closed trade... this is not clear

It can be added, but I don't like the existence of Martingale in these blocks to start with 🙂

Then try Bucket of Closed Trades. You'll find Time A and Time B settings in this block, and those settings have multiple formats to input time data. Clear Not more than N trades or set it to 0, because you don't know how much trades there are in a whole month. The blocks should only select those closed trades that were closed between Time A and Time B. Then in **Condition **or Comment you will find the Bucket category and you will get the calculation from there

I also don't know what you are doing and because of that I can't tell what is the problem. It can be anything. Right now in your web profile I see a project which has only 1 block under "on Init", but in this case the block will not run, because only blocks connected with other blocks are going to be in the output file

But it must work when you put things under on Tick. I don't know what is wrong in your case, I don't even remember people reporting such thing. Maybe you are working on an offline chart, I don't know

But if you put one more block above, this will further limit the possibility to run those Buy/Sell blocks. Even now I would expect to see more that two trades, but something appears to be wrong. I think that what is wrong is the size of the distance. I don't know your exact value, because even if it says 2.0, you have this as an input parameters. But if it's 2.0, then it's already too big. Your prices are like 159.016, which means that you should enter value like 0.010 or 0.1 or something like this, something lower than 1.

By default the block works with Ask for Buys and Bid for Sells, but there is one option Reference price where you can switch that

    • RE: Profitability annual, monthly and yearly

Try Check profit (period of time). But to check montly and annual profits... this can be too much for the backtester, so make sure you do such calculations only when you need to. Don't calculate annual profits on every tick.

    • RE: Is there some relatively good MQL4/MQL5 programmer out there

Hewee, my biggest problem is inside me, I just can't work with people. It's not that I don't have money, as a person I am too much of an introvert or something like that, I can't even explain it 🙂 In the same time I think that one-man-made products are sometimes better than those made by big teams. That's why I sometimes think like you, that I must find other people and do something with them, but other times I prefer to be alone.

Do I need marketers... I don't know. People in USA are really really into that competition game, they want to make as much money as they can, as soon as possible. It's not that I don't want money, eveyone wants, but I'm not that hooked. I'm happy with fxDreema as it is now. It's not very very famous, but people like it.
If I need someone else, this is because often I feel alone. But the marketing parts... I feel sick only when I'm thinking about marketing

    • RE: close all trader

I don't know what you mean.

There is one global account profit, which is the difference between Equity and Balance at any given time. This is global, because this is result of all manually and automatically placed trades. You know that while you have 1 trade still running, the value of Balance does not change, so Balance is really the latest known money amount you had in your account when there were 0 running trades.
To check this value go in Condition -> Account and there you will find these global values.

If you don't need that global profit, you can get the profit made out of few trades only (a group of trades). These trades can be all trades made by the current EA. Each EA knows it's own trades and normally does not touch others. So you can calculate the sum of the profits made from those trades only. And this is what Check profit (unrealized) (old name Check unrealized profit) do.

    • RE: Using ASK & BID

You are probably backtesting this on Open prices only mode, because if you try this on "Every tick" you should see huge amount of trades opening one after another. If this is not the case, something else is not right, you are probably backtesting the wrong EA or something like that.

I also made this EA and the results are as I would expect - https://fxdreema.com/shared/QQaCHeO3d And yes, this is not the desktop version, but it should be the same on the desktop version

Anyway, I think it's better to work with Candle Close [0] instead of Ask/Bid/Mid. Candle Close [0] is the current Bid, but it's also that level you can actually see on the chart. You are comparing this with Candle High [1], which was also Bid in the past. It's more intuitive to just work with these candle levels.

    • RE: RESTART EA AFTER NO TRADES OPEN

Maybe your round numbers distance is too big. You have the value of 2 now and this is set to be Price fraction. By Price fraction I mean value like 0.0002 (for EURUSD)

    • RE: close all trader

It's not specific amount. Never use == to compare prices or profits. If you have >=, then you are checking if the profit is >= than some amount and you can do something after that

    • RE: Using ASK & BID

Buy trades are always open at Ask price, while the chart is made out of Bid prices. Ask is a little bit above Bid, depending on the spread. Maybe this leads to your confusion
