    • RE: Sum and compare multiple Profits

      I made a block to do this long time ago, but there are many other things to be considered and mostly because of that it's not in the list. Eventually you will start to think "what if we arrange trades depending on OpenTime... or distance from the current price... or lot size... or something else", which is a problem for me 😄

      Someone asked for this few days ago. It's interesting how some things emerge and out of nothing many people are starting to ask for the same 🙂 I don't know, maybe I will release it. But it's not some miracle block, just to say, I was playing with these ideas before 🙂

    • RE: Slide Order

      I'm also not very used to these 2-digit numbers, but you can fix the pip size if you want. Click on the bench icon in the upper right corner and you will see the project's options where at the top you can put some rules. These are by default:

      __0.001 = 0.01
      0.00001 = 0.0001
      0.000001 = 0.0001[/quote:28pbmyj2]

      The first line means that if the point size of the symbol is 0.001, that EA will work as the point size is 0.01. In other words, the same size of a PIP will work the same on symbols with 3 and 2 digits. 1 PIP = 0.01. For your symbol there is no specific rule, 1 PIP should be 0.01.

      But if my variant it works for you... I don't know, all trailing blocks are independent, they just do their job. Do you have errors? Because there are some limits sometimes - https://book.mql4.com/appendix/limits

    • RE: Warning: Too short SL requested...

      Brokers often have limits. The EA is checking the minimum distance where SL/TP can be placed and if the requested value is lower, the minimum is taken. I think this is the better way, because otherwise you will get error messages such as 130 Invalid Stops

      Take a look below StopLevel Minimum Distance Limitation here - https://book.mql4.com/appendix/limits

      Use negative value for Price offset. Or, in general, whatever the open price is, certain type of pending order will be created there. The type is not specified directly, it depends on the open price.

    • RE: Slide Order

      In block 12 and 22 you have ask-bid on the left side, which is value like 0.0002

      Checking simple values like these in 11 and 21 is quicker than checking indicators in 10 and 10. 11 and 21 before 10 and 20 for quicker backtests.

      I don't know how long I will wait for a single order to be opened, but I forced their creation. Then they moved very often:

      that trailing block is working for me, which means that I cannot replicate the problem and I need more info about your setup... and error messages 🙂

    • RE: Warning: Too short SL requested...

      What do you understand by "pips"? What I understand for EURUSD is 0.0001. Not 0.00001 or something else, but 0.0001. This is 1 pip. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/pip.asp

      Even if you find other definitions of this word, it is a fact that most people imagine 0.0001 as 1 pip. Even if your broker is 5-digit.

      If your broker is 5-digit, then 0.00001 is 1 point and 0.00010 is 10 points. I said "point", not "pip". I know, now if you move the SL/TP line it says "pips", but in the past they used the word "points" instead and I don't know why they decided to change it.

      By default in EAs made in fxDreema 1 pip is 0.0001 even if the broker is 5-digits. This is because of the default rules, and you can see them if you click on the settings bench in the upper right corner. What you have there is this:

      __
      ...
      0.00001 = 0.0001
      ...[/quote:122hyrs9]
      ... which means that is the point size of the symbol is 0.00001, all calculations that involve pips will work as if the broker is 0.0001

      OrderProfit() > 0

      ... this is the "advanced" part that I used in block 4. OrderProfit() is the value of the profit in MQL4. What this code does is to allow only those trades for which their profit value is bigger than 0

    • RE: INVISIBLE INDICATORS?

      Indicators will show if the EA uses them. If the block where certain indicator exists is never reached, then this indicator does not appear. This is how MetaTrader works. Try this with disabled or enabled Pass - https://fxdreema.com/shared/hNRDI8uW

    • RE: Stop ATR

      I tried this, but didn't worked. The problem can be that I don't directly use those indicator handles. But they are integer numbers starting from 10, so I tried to put 10, 11... nothing. And I don't know why, because while I was testing the EA, my MA lines can be visible from the start. Maybe this is only for custom indicators, I don't know.

      Normally "Once per bar" helps in situations where you want to do something only once per candle. There are also other ways, like checking the age of the latest trade, but try "Once per bar" if you didn't

      The default value in this block is ADX and there is file ADX.tpl in /templates. So you obviously don't need to write any path until /templates, only write relative path if you have subfolders in /templates

    • RE: Stop ATR

      It looks that there is no such function in MQL5. There is one IndicatorRelease(), but it does something else and is called at the end. What people suggest (https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/9184) is to detect Visual Mode and prevent the EA from working in this case. I think that indicators appear only in Visual Mode.

      There is no such option. But you can probably do it in the opposite way - export the project with Constants and import it again, then paste blocks from other project in it.
