@plentygrazes You’re over complicating it by numbering the candles the reverse way, why not say Candle 2 buy when = to Candle 1 open price

How would I do this….(MA double cross)posted in Questions & Answers

I have no clue how to do this via FXDREEMA, as you can see price is going down, the 12MA crosses back above the 25MA and then crosses back down, how would I do it so that my EA would sell when it crosses back down?
I would want a condition so that if the 12MA hasn’t crossed back down within 5 candles to cancel trade, the double cross must be done within 5 candles.
@jstap @l-andorrà I haven’t got an initial project on this so I won’t be able to share anything with you

RE: Alert about how many candles ago price crossed MAposted in Questions & Answers
@mmaarits Your conditions dont make sense, that first condition says price is already above the MA and the next condition says when price crosses above. It cant cross above if it is ALREADY above the MA

Post Trade Screen Shots?posted in Questions & Answers
Is there a way to get your EA to take a screen shot post trade for both wins or losses and have the details of the trade for example THE STUFF THAT MT4 already has written but put it in the corner of the screen shot "EURUSD, Win, Time of entry:XYZ, Entry Price:XYZ, Time of Take Profit:XYZ and Take Profit Price:XYZ" and these pictures can automatically get sent to your email

Sounds like you don’t necessarily need buttons, in MT4 itself you can choose for your EA to only take either long or short trades

London and US high and low (SOLVED)posted in Questions & Answers
How would I create an EA that marks out the high and low of the Asia, London, US session and also yesterdays high of the day and low of the day.
Simply being high and low of candles between X start hour and Y end hour everyday?
EDIT: Found the solution...Modify variables....Market Properties...Highest Price (Time Period)....

@jstap You're the GOAT i was expecting it to be some complicated constant variables and formula sequence

Pullback Trading + Manual Linesposted in Questions & Answers

I saw someone did a previous post about this but they wanted it done the over complicated way. My way of simplifying would be manually putting in the support or resistance line and just making it that when price touches my line it executes a trade straight away or puts in a stop order.
How would i go about doing that? I dont have an initial project but the concept is simple, draw line (manually), price touches line, execute trade

RE: How To Backtest my ea on mt4posted in Questions & Answers
Back testing is pointless, because of variables like spread and other things, best thing to do is forward test on a demo
