I compiled it with metaeditor and four errors are detected. The problem is that I don't know what they mean because I'm not a programmer :(. Here they are:

'Bars' - variable already defined 'Volume' - variable already defined '' - invalid array access 'Volume' - invalid array access

'Bars' and 'Volume' are in effect variables I created to change them at will. I don't understand what's the problem. Any hint, please?

It almost works as I need. I just need a final additional feature. How can I create a variable for that buffer info? The EA now opens a trade immediately after the new colour appears. That's what I want, but I also need that if other conditions from other indicators are met AND the colour (i.e. the buffer info) is the one I'm looking for, a new trade is open. I'm thinking of adding that info to a variable, but I don't see how can I "catch" it.

Any suggestion?

Terminal variables are called Global Variables in MetaTrader, because they are obviously variables that are global (can be accessed from all EAs). I called them Terminal, because the term "global variable" already has meaning for the EA itself. They are values written in some file I think, pretty much like the cookies in the browser, that's why they does not disappear for some time.

In MQL there are 2 general functions that are used to get and set them - GlobalVariableSet() and GlobalVariableGet(). Very, very basic. You can actually use those functions directly if you have to do something a little bit more complex. Otherwise there is a block to set them and also you can get and check their values somewhere in Condition (search for Terminal Variables).

Interesting. I'll take a look. Now I would like to ask which blocks should I use to do the following:

My EA will open several trades at different charts. Some orders will be won and other lost. I would like to have something like a " pip counter" (sorry, I don't know the proper word in English). What I mean is that ther should be something counting how many pips have been got today. So that when a previously specified amount has been reached, all open trades right now are closed.

Let me put an example. I want to get 40 pips today, no matter in which chart. The sum of my two fisrt trades lost 30 pip. Now I have four trades open. The overall result of all of them right now is 70 winning pips. That's exactly my target for today so all trades are closed. Can you suggest me how can that be done?

As far as I tested it, it works well. More than ten trades including all possibilities (good and bad buy/sell) have been confirmed. So once more, tank you very much for your help. 😉

To be honest, I don't understand Excel very well. I don't even know how to open this .csv file with it. But I'm sure that Excel has many different ways to format the data, so I guess this is what is going on

Thank you for that 🙂 But if you are new, and I always say this to anyone who is new, I think that it's better to work in the demo mode for a while. Knowing that you can't make as many connections as you want will make you think about using less blocks and less connections, which is always preferable 🙂 There are people with 700+ blocks and honestly, I have no idea how they can work with these giant projects.

It was in real time. The only thing I guess it happened was a fatal MT4 malfunction, but I find it simply unbelievable. 😕

How can the EA itself produce such errors. The EA sends trade request to the server and the errors are response from the server. There is network between the EA and the server, so it takes time for the request to reach the server. The EA can't fix network problems, it can only send the request, wait for the response and react.
