I split the code (the close the gap v2.0 ea) into the "buy" and "sell", I know the trend has been downwards for the last year or so, hence the buy is below the 500EMA. Is it worth adding in a general trend so using either the buy or sell based on that?
Like the sell alone has been very profitable but the buy by itself is actually returning a loss for me.

Also, in your v2, there is a modify variable OpenPriceLong and OpenPriceShort. I'm not sure how this works? So I've removed it in my EA because I don't include thing a noob like me doesn't understand.
