    • RE: Condition Using Historical Data

__Whooo, 5-years, here I smell history data issues. In my backtester the biggest TF is Daily, on live it is Monthly, but knowing the numbers of candles to use...

well, now I see what you mean about history data issues (because mt4 doesn't have access to 5 years of data for all time frames). Do you think loading tickstory data will solve the problem?

Is there an easy way to clear a comment (so that it disappears from the chart) after it no longer meets condition? http://fxdreema.com/shared/OOOCdZJNd

    • RE: Formula Results & Project Variables

How do I store formula result in project variable and how do I recall the variable in the right operand of condition blocks 14 & 21 as in the following example: http://fxdreema.com/shared/1UqxtLlid

Basically, I want to be able to use formula results with multiple blocks without having to physically connect the formula block with the other block.

      Thanks 🙂

    • RE: Condition Using Historical Data

Why would history data be an issue? Can it only read a certain number of candles back? What type of errors would I be looking for? Thank you 🙂

      maybe this works?: http://fxdreema.com/shared/wvb04F7yc

Is there a way to print the value of this condition in order to test if it's working?

      http://fxdreema.com/shared/dKRmozGJ

      I think this correctly expresses: If close [0] < (5-year low/2), right?
Now, how do I add the part that says "+ (5-year low/4)"? For example, let's say highest value for last 5 year is 2, condition should check if close [0] > 1.5

(example 2 from first post in this thread was actually example 2: If close [0] < (5-year low/2) + (5-year low/4) with "+" sign in between instead of "-" sign)

Is there a way to write a condition that says one of the following?:

      example 1: If close [0] > 5-year high
      example 2: If close [0] < (5-year low/2)- (5-year low/4)

    • RE: Same EA on Different Charts?

ok, thanks so if EA does not open or close orders (all orders are opened manually and ea only draws arrows and gives alerts) then magic number/group number should not affect things right?

Can you use the same EA on different charts with different symbols, for example, on EURUSD, USDJYP, GOLD, and SILVER?

    • RE: Turning Off Buy/Sell Block Also Turns Off Draw Arrow Blcok

I have buy now block connected below once per bar. There are also alert message, play sound, and draw arrow connected. If I disable (turn off) buy now block, the draw arrow block stops working (it stops drawing arrows on the chart). However, the alert message and play sound blocks continue to work.

    • RE: Feature Request

then you have to export it out of fxdreema and load it back into fxdreema, would be nice to have a "save as" option to save same blocks with a different name but xml option works too - not a big deal 🙂

    • RE: Feature Request

It would great to have a "Save as" feature so if you want to create a variation of an existing project, you don't have to copy and paste the blocks.

    • RE: EA Size Limit?

I'm not looking at huge eas, maybe up to 100 blocks or 200 blocks. Do the different areas of the ea need to be exposed to tick flow (do I need to arrange the areas horizontally) or can I arrange the areas vertically?

    • RE: Trailing Stop By Market

What block(s) would I use to do the following?:

If market = GOLD or GOLDmicro or SILVERmicro, then run trailing stop block #32 (trailing stop is 50 pips)
If market = anything else, then run trailing stop block #26 (trailing stop is 100 pips)

      Thank you 🙂
