I'm trying to set a trailing stop on my project and when I set it to 0 to test what would happen without it and it keeps setting the stop at 0. Is this meant to happen or is it bug??? How do I create a null value for the trailing stop???

I tried this (on MT4 and MT5), with Trailing Stop set to 0, and as a result my stop was removed. Isn't this what you get?

I tested it again still bugged I'm starting to think my MT5 might be bugged or something lol.

          EDIT:

I can give you screenshots if you need them.

          thank for your help btw.

Aaaaa you want SL to remain untouched. Well, it's not a bug, it's how I decided to be. I don't remember why I decided that. Normally if you say to the program to set SL to 0, it will clear it. But maybe it's better for the trailing stop to not touch it. I don't know, there is a chance for someone else to ask "Why when I set trailing stop to 0 it does not clear it?"

edit: ok I misunderstood so is it possible to set trailing stop to null value or do I have to remove it??? Can you deactivate it in the optimiser?
