dreema.net was temporary domain name that I used when fxdreema.com was not ready. Now both domains points to the same IP, so there is no difference for the local version.

I noticed that at the moment there is some problem with freezing "Entering" in the local version, I still don't know why this happens, but by clicking again on the Login button it will enter.

Meanwhile I found that the local version exports files slower than I want it to be and I'm trying to optimize that process. There are many things to be done and unfortunately nothing happens with the speed of thought. In other words, to make the local version to work offline is something with lowest priority for me now 🙂

This is very strange. I made a modification to another unconnected block, and now I'm getting just 1 trade. At least its working! 🙂

We are al least small country with almost empty villages and people are packed in and around towns, now I feel better because of that :)))

You don't know how much I don't like this local version, because it creates many different problems - the program I use to create it has bugs, the fact that people are using offline database means that I can't update those files easily when I do some upgrades, also when someone is asking me for help I can't see his project (which is why people wants to use it anyway). And I like web apps, not desktop. But I started it back then, now what can I do 🙂 Maybe most of the questions now come from people using that local version 😕

Yes, it can be used offline, test that. Wait for 5 seconds and it will log in. But don't change the clock, if you go back in time the information will be cleared, if you go ahead - you will miss some days. But if you have problems like this - log in normally once and they will be gone.

I know this isn't at all helpful, but I'm completely unable to replicate the problem deliberately. I can do the same as you have on http://fxdreema.com/shared/iBdbdWqsd, both on-line and in the local version. But from time to time the local version throws this up at me. I can't see any pattern. I'm really sorry to be so vague. If I do spot a pattern I'll let you know - don't worry! 🙂

There is some problem with MySQL on the server, it seems that it works slow as hell sometimes and it tooks tens of seconds to do something very simple, especially within the forum. The technicians said that they have started to repair it, and I hope that it will be ok soon. I really sorry for the troubles.

OK. But over 12 or so trade groups, that's quite a lot of individual "Start trades loops" and associated other blocks. That's maybe 8 or so as many blocks in comparison to being able to call a group in the pink blocks.

This is still happening. On the Alpari demo account I have a true spread of 0.027 on USDJPY. On the chart the fxDreema generated EA shows 2.70. I'm calculating the spread thus:

Spread=MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_ASK)-MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_BID);

Yes, "Volume size" is the lots you are going to trade. Some brokers allows 0.01 lots, others 0.1, but if you set a value that is less than the broker's minimum - the minimum is taken.

Please don't worry about this. I thought I'd standardise on my usual Linux Centos operating system. I'll just stick with my old boring Windoze! 🙂

Incidentally, I do have MT4 running perfectly, and I satisfied all the requirements for fxdreema install, all under Wine for Linux.

I've drawn a blank so far on obtaining good quality free tick data for indices and commodities. Although http://eareview.net/ does suggest GainCapital, it also says its of poor quality.

I wonder if anyone on this forum has experience of commercial tick data, which service they used and liked.

Actually the reason of this logo to be there is not advertising, but recognizing that the EA is made with fxdreema. And it was fun for me to create it. In fact, this logo exists only in the MQL4 part, for MQL5 I was too lazy to create it 😆 And it can be easily removed from the output source code - it exists somewhere in "init()".

Also, I think that EA creators (in general) are good to quickly build some strategy and backtest it, but for professional use it's better to write the strategy in MQL4/5 from scratch. Because EA creators are made to be universal, the biggest part of the output code is trash. At least this is the case with fxDreema, I can admit that. Yes, the EA can work, but every EA can be written with less code from someone who knows how.

Well, I will add some option to enable/disable if this is what many people wants. This is already planned update 🙂
