I'm pretty sure that indicator repaints. No matter how much effort you dedicate to build an EA if the indicator repaints. Are you completely sure it doesn't?

I'm afraid I don't fully understand what you mean. Every tick all your conditions will be checked. If all of them are true at the exact time (ie the candle's open price) then the execution will happen. any information coming from previous candles will be ignored.

@James-d If your EA's code is correct, your platform will not mess up. However, you broker can ALWAYS mess things up. That is a more serious concern IMHO.

The flag will only change when the condition connect to it on top will be making it change. That means the logic used to connect the conditions is what if wrong.

The problem with that logic is that you will search for a limited number of candles in the past. Is that what you need? If you select Cycle=5, the bot will only search for that range in the previous 5 candles only.

Your block distribution is correct. Is that the whole project or just part of it? If it is just part of your project probably the issue is somewhere else. If not, the problem is the indicator itself.

A loop working in the on tick tab will be executed every single tick arriving to the MT4 whereas using it in the 'on trade' tab will execute it just once, when the trade is open/closed/modified and will wait until that happens again.

Ok. So let's move back to your question. If I understand it correctly you need the exact moment (hour and minute) a high or a low in the past (ie a past candle) happened. Then the bot can know which one happened before the other. Is that correct?
