    • RE: Problem with graphics

@andylomb You can define a variable in pips specifying the maximum distance yuo accept from candle ID 1's close or low to candle ID 0's open price. What is your maximum distance accepted?

    • RE: Modify pending order after condition met once

@darrow Yes, we are. Then your EA is correct. The problem is when it considers the crossing happened. You and me see the crossing 'between' two candles, but an EA just 'sees' once it is complete. In your example, this means it was confirmed once candle 3 was complete, but due to the 'Once per par' block, that is not detected until the opening of candle 2.

If you don't want that, you can remove that block but then you can get dozens of trades on the same bar.

    • RE: Need help with Breakeven and Trailing Stop at a certain Percentage of Profit

@biztet said in Need help with Breakeven and Trailing Stop at a certain Percentage of Profit:

Everyone is struggling to create an EA that can make them a millionaire in less then a month. But in the end no broker would allow that and will never pay every million the traders make. To me by achieving consistantly $300-$500 a day and can withdraw daily/weekly is the best achievement in making an EA. And the mission is to build a profitting EA that safe to run with 1000cent, and consistantly gain 300-500cent a day, hahaha. 😅

      Amen, brother!

    • RE: Rule Trailling Stop ?

@ontrade Exactly. You inderstood it correctly for the break even When I type '-2' it doesn'y mean a negative number. The block 'Pips away from open-price' is catching positive values only. What I'm doing is 'subtracting' 2 pips from a higher positive number BEYOND the open price.

On the trailing stop, the 10 pips distance is not considered anywhere because it was already solved in the previous tree. Here this blocks begins to move the SL once is it at least 22 pips in profit. This is the result of the previous 2 pips already in preoit from the previous block tree plus the 20 pips you said you want the SL to move.

      More clear now?

    • RE: FRACTALS DEFINITION

@mmaarits Well, you need to compare three fractals, right? This is why you need at least three variables. For example, you can catch the last fractal up with a variable like this:

      0_1600701862283_01.png

You can do the same with the last fractal down in a different variable. Both variables are nubers (their are proce levels after all). Once thay are stored into variables you can do calculations like this:

      0_1600702036133_02.png

As you can see I had to create a fourth variable called 'lst fractals distance'. This will be the result os subtracting the lower from the higher.

    • RE: Close Positions

@ramimoujaes Both variables should be of a 'double' type. Then you type the name you want (I suggested those but you can choose any one) in the 'Name' box. And finally you type number zero in the 'value' box. You can the position them as explained in the Intructions page I suggested.

    • RE: Rule Trailling Stop ?

@ontrade You'd better use two different trees to do that. Like this:

      https://fxdreema.com/shared/9d9PpwF0e

The left one moves the SL to 2 pips in profit and the right one is the proper trailing stop.

You can try to add other time filters for those additional conditions you mentioned.
