Be aware that candle ID 0 close value can be caught in just one single tick. You lose it and there is data to be inserted into a variable. I recommend you to ask for candle ID 1 close vale and candle ID 2 open value. That way you can have the correct value no matter how many pips have passed.

Your starting and ending hours are different from those your pointed out on your first message. Why?

RE: about ''Check profit (unrealized) '' Pips format is money format!!!posted in Bug Reports
In that case I'm afraid that bug belongs to the unfathomable realm of MQL5 unfinished programming on fxDreema (I'm not blaming the admin, BTW). Thank you for identifying, but I'm afraid it will not be fixed soon due to the unstable nature of that language, sorry

RE: [NEWBIE] Problems running my EAposted in Questions & Answers
@scottpapetti said in [NEWBIE] Problems running my EA:
@l-andorrà
The EA I tested to make sure MT4 worked was a FxDreema EA
The one I created with similar conditions and identical blocks didn’t work
Have you ever ran into any issues like this?Honestly, I never met something like that. It's certainly weird. I agree with trader.philipps, I recommend you to share your log and your EA for us to take a look, please.

RE: How to show Moving Average on chart - no draw, but show indicatorposted in Questions & Answers
You can do it manually while the EA is running with no problem. Is that what you are asking for?

Do you have any initial project to begin with?

RE: Make ea enter trade after N minutes, delay tradeposted in Questions & Answers
Your blocks on the 'On Timer' tab are headed by numbers ID 9 and 22 whereas those on the 'On Tick' tab go from 5 to 59. You EA will be executing all heading blocks from the lowest number to the highest no matter in which tab they are. You should renumber all heading blocks in the strict order of execution you need.

But was that EA created on fxDreema?

RE: [Newbie] Is there any inexpensive course/resource on fxdreema (tradingnut course is too expensive for me)?posted in Questions & Answers
There is no cheap course AFAIK. Sadly the only cheap way to learn right now is by using this forums after having read all tutorials and examples.

RE: New to fxdreema and would like some advice pleaseposted in Questions & Answers
Roar is right. We should take a look within the blocks to find the reason why it doesn't work. Could you please share your project?

RE: Trouble with "Trade closed" blockposted in Questions & Answers
Congratulations!
Just curious. Why are you turning ON/OFF different blocks when considering buys and sells? I think they should be exactly the opposite of the other. -
RE: about ''Check profit (unrealized) '' Pips format is money format!!!posted in Bug Reports
Is this happening on MQ4 or MQ5 format?

RE: restart a strategyposted in Questions & Answers
Obviously I cannot give you the specific answer without seeing your project. It will depend on your current variables distribution. Could you please share it?

RE: macd (divergence) blockposted in Questions & Answers
You don't need to put the MACD indicator into your chart for the block to work. That block will calculate when a divergence is detected automatically. Your project on the screenshot is initially correct. However, I think all three conditions are very restrictive. Problably that combination of events will not happen very often. Have you backtested it manually, maybe?

RE: restart a strategyposted in Questions & Answers
Well, it depends on your project. In general this is what you need to consider when creating an EA:
- What constants do I need?
- What variables do I need?
- What initial value will variables have?
- What values will variables have while active?
- When will my variables be restarted?
Ask yourself questions 2 to 5 all the time. That way you will have a permanent control of your EA. I will be more than happy to help you if you want to begin your project. Share it here and we'll work on it.

Apparently it's correct. Testit thoroughly, though.

I'm afraid I don't fully understand you, sorry. What do you mean by 'display on chart'? Do you mean displaying from your MT4 indicator's pool?

RE: Trouble with "Trade closed" blockposted in Questions & Answers
Try filtering by type on blocks 4 and 8. Now both close buys and sells at the same time. Just limit the to buys OR sells only.
