    • RE: Open Another Trade When Current Trade is -50pips

@l-andorrà Thank you so much for the advice. I have been able to make the ea place the trades at the exact distance but the issue now is that it repeats the trades after every other signals.

Please help me have a look again https://fxdreema.com/shared/IZ97nGXhe

    • Open Another Trade When Current Trade is -50pips

      Hello everyone

I will appreciate if anyone can help me out on this

I want my EA to be able to open another position with a set of conditions after the first trade is already in -50 pips or more.

I already tried to set it up. I have used all the blocks that I believe should perform this function but to no avail.

      Please help me out @l-andorrà , @roar @miro1360

      hi
if the red ball is in your condition so you can remove all balls after open position and repaint after other conditions are true

@Xfire I understand your explanation but I dont know which blocks perform those functions you described. Have tried many options but not working. Please advice

    • Trade only once per condition met

      Hello everyone,

Please I need help on how to set this up. I want my EA to only pick trades once after a condition is met.

Looking at this image as example, I want the EA to take trade ones when 100ma is below 200ma and the red ball(custom indicator) appears. Which means the ea will disregard all other red balls that may appear after the first trade has been taken. Even after tp or sl. So the ea will wait until that condition is met again and place only one trade when the first red ball shows up.

I hope you understand me. Any assistance rendered will be well appreciated.

      HI.
you can create 2 EA and run each one on the same chart

Yes, that's what I did. But some of their functions are interfaring into each other. So if you know anything I can do to stop that from happening I will appreciate it.

    • How To Make 2 EAs Work Independently In One Account

      Hello everyone

I have this issue that when I install 2 EAs in one account their works interfare with each other.
The function (block) which gives this problem most is the one of (no position block).

For example, I set EA 1 and EA 2 separately that when there is no position with some certain conditions they should buy. So I discover that when EA 1 has active buy position and new buy conditions are met for EA 2, EA 2 will not open new buy position because of the active buy position from EA 1.

So please I need you guys to tell what I need to do to stop this.

@l-andorrà @roar @miro1360 please help me look into the situation.

    • Using Multiple EAs on One Trading Account

      Hello everyone

Please I will like to know how to stop my EAs from interfering into each other's actions when used together in one trading account.

I noticed that when I install many EAs on an account and 1 or 2 of those EAs uses the "No Position" > "sell" or "Buy" to open new trades, the EAs work in harmony and open one new position instead opening 2 separate trades for the individual EAs.

Same thing happens when I have an EA running (for example) a buy position and there is another EA which suppose to open a new buy trade of its own when there is no buy position of its own. But because a buy position is currently running by another EA, the second EA did not open another buy position. I need stop this.

I really hope you guys understand what I mean and I will if you can suggest how to stop my EAs from doing this.

      Thanks.

Nice one @lanrayy . But like @jsauter86 said, 88% drawdown with only $300 capital in just a luck if its real. Better test it with other years. Here we usually do backtest by month. Also where there is critical market condition, like long trend, ranging, huge rise and fall, very evil spike, hahaha.
Unless, the Step Index which you do the backtest, in history never have that kind of condition.
As for @l-andorrà , let me do copytrade to your account, hahahaha! Nice one guys.

@biztet This trading instrument does not have many years data available for backtesting. It started from May 2019.

Also by design, the strategy takes care of those market conditions you mentioned except for "evil spikes" 😁 lol which I know is not applicable to step index.

@jsauter86 said in My Best Result Ever, Check this out guys.:

just another tip to the author, decrease your starting balance to something more normal. It helps to put everything into perspective for what you will start an account with, how long it takes to accumulate more money....but most importantly it doesn't feel like your heart is going to explode when you see the results of an awesome EA for the first time.

Edit, disregard. That was starting with $300. lol. I am impressed with that, but still, I can determine for sure now that you are risking a lot in terms of # of trades and lot size. The banks love to make very extreme runs on liquidity (stop losses) when global events happen. A move like that from the banks will wipe your account totally.

      Thanks, noted.
