It seems there is something wrong with my EA since update. A change in properties/attributes of EA has no effect. Changing constants value while EA is running has no effect. Could you look over please (v2.7).
An older version (not imported) is working correctly. Older, after the update downloaded versions are showing errors like " '111' name expected " and are not working at all. Did you have changed something to groups.
It seems "create area" is not working. Could you look over, please.
after fixing the .js issue I can see how highlighting variables and constants is working. This is very nice but can't you add a button to make it permanent until turn off again?

as for me, firefox is same as above mentioned and still have the issues.
after refreshing Browser while project is open makes updating blocks working again but the menue-bar (uper left corner) is still not working and it is not possible to open constant and variable properties.
there is still nothing working on my project. No load, import or update project is possible.
I still can't import projects and the whole menue-bar is not working. I although can't update my project (changings are not "saveable", the history doesn't change).
I am using firefox. I have read there are chrome issues. It seems there is no reaction of project to clicking on "update". I can't change my project at all.
I can't open "Load project" properties. This and some other properties of that menue-bar are not openable. I suppose this is under way at the moment. Maybe I am able to post mql-file tomorrow.
could you post the link to an example that works as you are showing. I could not verify what your post is trying say on my projects.
I am not a programmer and I don't know how this is working in the background but if there is a connection between a variable and blocks it should be possible to indentify what blocks these are. If this is possible, just highlight them (maybe a yellow "aura" instead a red one) connect these indentied blocks with a button to toggle highlighting blocks and thats all. For me this is very simple and clear :).

When I drag an opened block properties window to the upper workbench border it starts to scroll up very fast. The same happens to the downside when the lower properties window is close to the lower workbench border. Please remove that behaviour.

Please, could you remove the autoscroll "thing" when trying to move an opened block-window. This is terrible especially with an Notebook. The behaviour in that case before the update was better.
well, when I click on a button that is connected to a constant or a variable like the delete-cross button (maybe on the right or left side of the cross-button) then the blocks that are using the variable or constant should be highlighted.
Actually the same that happend when I click on the cross to delete a variable or constant that is still used but then not only a window containing the blocks should appear but the blocks should be highlighted.
simplified: highlight the blocks from the window with the blocknumbers after clicking the crossbutton (of course there should be something to dehighlight them again).
According to your screenshot, no, there are no highlighted blocks. But even if, it will not be very helpfull because I have to scoroll to see all blocks and if I understood you right blocks are highlighted only when the mouse is over the variable/constant.
I can't follow you or can't verify what you have added or changed.
What already exists is the little window that appears under a variable or constant when I try to delete it and it is still used in blocks. It would be very nice to have a button to "turn on" a variable or constant to make them highlighted permanently in the scematic until "turned off" again.

By the way, to place variables and constants to the left upper corner was a good idea.
If you feel bored after this update :), you could make something that is highlighting blocks are using a selected variable or constant. That will be very helpfull.

How long is history? I is strange to me I have to get accustomed to that.

What blocks allow to use a komma as separator. kommaseperator on groups is working but is it possible to do something like this on "delete objects" : Longmode, Shortmode, ect. in one block?
