    • RE: Different trailing stop (Solved)

@xyon126 well, you find out how much of a trailing stop you want away from the opening price and then you click and drag the trailing stop tab onto the screen
Specify if this trailing stop is to move every point or by a % of your stop loss (which doesn't work for me, I usually go according to 1 pip at a time).
First you have to put your buy and sell conditions, of course.

@doperthancereal Thanks! I would have never been one of these kinds of traders by choice because I never thought to be, but after seeing your invention here. Its good to have this peace of mind option. Rock and roll, man!

    • RE: Pips Per Day?

@yoloyacht Unless, you keep your system on ALL the time, that is a question where your broker will have that on the MT4 or MT5 platform. It can be answered directly from there, and then this way you don't have to expose your bot to timing when to stop tracking it (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, ....). You can, but so much easier with your brokers platform and their date search optiobns

    • RE: HELP ADMINISTRATOR FXdREEMA (Solved)

@xyon126 I th ought the same at first, but as I understand it, administration thought of this concept with the idea that the platform would provide as much up front inventory of commands and choices and make it in such a way that it was like moving from DOS to windows.
If you are not a programmer as I am not, then go to the ask section or the search function and seek out the key words of the topic. I have been stuck on a problem for 4 weeks now and still cannot come up with an answer, but my answer is probably rooted in methodology more than it is on platform tool availability.

Its all over the place here. You are in a Matrix. Think of it like Zion, the Smiths, and the Architect. Take the red pill, as we have, and endure the uncertainty ahead while you search for truth. Take the blue pill, and you'll wake up in your bed safe and sound. Don't stick your head in the sand becaues you'll know what happens next.

    • RE: How can you after taking profit, rest day?

What is funny is the translation. It sounded at first that you wanted to take profit early, and then rest. Sort of like "...and on the seventh day, He rested...." I would recommend that if a trade slows because of the market resisting your direction, that you probably should let that run unitl you are absolutely certain it is being stopped, otherwise, you are betting on going onthe possibility of it reversing on you or taking the same wager on a candle that is an obvious resistance which would not be advisable, especially if you are scalping the market in the first hour. Thats also funny, but you are in the best place to figure out where your intuition benefits you or bites you in the ass. Me too. haha

      to me

Hi. If you want to draw an object on a subwindow instead of the main window where the chart is, try this:

Try value 1. If it has to be the Name of the indicator, it should be the short name, something like MACD(12,26,9)

However, this block only draws a trendline. For trendline you need to somehow calculate its 2 coordinates. It depends, but I imagine that this requires some calculations.

About timeframes, these are arrays of data. You know, OHLC and Volume of the candles. The EA has this information, normally for the current timeframe. But if you specify another timeframe, it can get that data as well. If it's some indicator, this is where to specify that:

Then you can be on H1 for example, but the indicator will be calculated with data from M15.

@l-andorrà thanks. I think it could be either the one I provided, OR ths one because they both don't have delete blocks..
I just don't know how to add it in there..

@l-andorrà so, there really is no other immediate remedy for combating abrupt candle movements that I can see. By the time these candles are implemented into a EA, its already too late. haha. I can only think of 2 EMA

    • FIBONACCI DELETION: Deleting previous levels, and cleaning up the screen. HOW?

90% of deleting objects posts (that I read) say that this block does not work. Here, I have three ranges of days where I am on the hourly time frame but I go back as far as a month so that I can see if there are any overlap Fibs.

As you can see, I need to clean this up a lot. Its like a whole box of Angel Hair Pasta just spilled all over the screen.
Does ANYONE have advice as to how I can clean this up, selectively? Are there any conditions that you can recommend that I might use? I have green representing fibs going back 8 days, gold representing fibs going out 16, and red representing fibs going back 24 days.

Any advice is welcome. Thank you![alt text](0_1602894961949_Screenshot (86).png image url)

@l-andorrà thank you, but are those the "minimum required" candles needed in order for those condition blocks to pass to the next?

    • Sherlock Holmes, the long trade you're in hits a resistance, retraces, you're in hour TF, ... is there any

Is there any best way to get out of this trade, when (2 candles into the trade) you are good until it reverses after hittingthis resistance?
Problem is that Candle 0 is not fast enough? bulls in a row is too many candle requirement, indicator fall is too many candle requirement, moving averages are too slow, and your ONLY CLUE is that price hit a high and is about to bounce back.

Is there a way to program an exit here expediently or quickly when such abrupt changes occur?
Can you recommend a best practice?

      Thanks,
      bloodhound
